Sideswipe is the youngest and the least experienced of the Autobot soldiers. He's an unproven rookie who wants to be a player, to one day stand as an equal with other great Autobot champions. He drives and works hard always trying to impress his superiors - great Autobots he idolizes above all else. Although he means well, sometimes he tries too hard and things don't turn out the way he intended. Blurr, with his critical eye and sharp tongue, states matter-of-factly, "He's got a lot to learn." But Optimus Prime knows better; he sees raw potential in the enthusiastic upstart and knows with experience Sideswipe will one day be an irreplaceable asset.
