| Name Reuses: The name Convoy is what the Japanese use in place of Optimus Prime/Optimus Primal. The name Convoy was reassigned to Lio Convoy (1998, Japan), Big Convoy (1999, Japan), Clear Super Fire Convoy (2000, Japan), Clear God Fire Convoy (2000, Japan), and Grand Convoy (2004, Japan). The name Optimus Primal was never reassigned. However, the name Optimus was reassigned from Optimus Prime (1984-2004) and was later reassigned to Optimus Minor (1999), Robots In Disguise Optimus Prime (2001-2004), and Armada Optimus Prime (2002-2004). The suffix name, Primal, was reassigned to Botcon Exclusive Onyx Primal (1996) and Primal Prime (2000). |
