Remolds: This figure was remolded from Dinobot (1996), Beast Wars Grimlock (1997), Fox Kids Dinobot (1999), and 10th Anniversary Dinobot (2006). This mold was also used to create Thrustor (1998, Japan), Hardhead (1999, Japan), and Dinotron (2000).

Name Reuses: The name Grimlock was reassigned to Robots In Disguise Grimlock (2001-2003), Energon Grimlock (2004), and Animated Grimlock (2008-2009).

It is also hinted that the character T-Wrecks (2000) may be the Autobot Grimlock.
