Recolors: This mold was recolored from Optimus Prime (1984) and Generation 2 Optimus Prime (1993) and was later recolored into New Year's Convoy (2002, Japan) and 25th Anniversary Optimus Prime (2008). The cab was recolored into the cab of Ultra Magnus (1986), Matrix Glow Ultra Magnus (2001), Movie Preview Ultra Magnus (2001), and Botcon 2007 Pepsi Optimus Prime (2007).
Remolds: This figure was remolded into Music Label Convoy (2007, Japan), Music Label Optimus Prime (2008, Japan) and Exile Perfect Year 2008 Convoy (2008, Japan).

Name Reuses: The name Convoy was never reassigned.

However, the name Convoy is used in Japan to refer to Optimus Prime (1984-2008), Optimus Primal (1996-2007), and Robots In Disguise Optimus Prime (2001-2004). The name Convoy was also assigned to Lio Convoy (1998-2006, Japan), Big Convoy (1999, Japan), Clear God Fire Convoy (2000, Japan), and Grand Convoy (2004, Japan).
